Paul began his singing career at an early age, first singing publicly at the age of 4 in his hometown of Marlborough, Massachusetts. Paul continued to sing throughout his youth, participating in regional and national talent showcases.

 

In high school, Paul became active in musical theater, taking part in numerous stage productions that strengthened his vocal abilities and enhanced his inherent natural stage presence. At Providence College, Paul cantored masses weekly and performed with two touring choirs, adding a cappella, classical and liturgical music, as well as sight reading and various languages to his list of vocal abilities.
